Your Science Webpage Checklist
1) Be sure that your first name is clearly at the top of your page. Place your username in small print under your first name.
2) Place a photo of a living organism that is present in the wild. Extinct and fantasy organisms are not allowed.
3) Move the organism that is presently at the top of your page to the bottom section.
4) Complete at least 200 words on viruses, bacteria, cells, organelles, and the function of organelles.
5) Use headings in boldface in this order:
Viruses,
Bacteria,
Archea,
Cells,
Organelles,
Function of organelles
6) Define virus, bacteria, and archea.
A virus is nonliving structure that attacks cells and multiplies by injecting RNA or DNA telling the cell to make multiple copies of the virus.
Bacteria are small single celled organisms that have a cell wall and do not have a well, defined nucleus.
Archea are small single celled organisms that have a cell wall and do not have a well, defined nucleus. Archea very similar to bacteria but have a different ribosome structure and tend to be extremophiles. Extemophiles can live in extreme conditions such as high and low temperatures.
7) Place an animal cell diagram on the page.
